Dr. Ghina Shami
Dr. Ghina Shami is a Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility with more than 15 years of experience caring for women and couples on their path to parenthood. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut in 2008 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Beirut, going on to obtain certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and certification accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in the United States.
Practicing in the UAE since 2012, Dr. Shami built her reproductive medicine career at Fakih IVF before becoming a founding team member and Medical Director of First IVF Dubai. She also consults at the Jumeirah American Clinic, and holds an Executive MBA from the American University of Dubai. She is highly respected by her peers for her high ethics and standards in patient care.
Her clinical interests include infertility and IVF treatment, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. She consults with patients in English and Arabic.
